Do I need to have a payment gateway?

 

No. When the customer selects to purchase the product they come through to Sector48 to complete the process. However, we are able to utilize your branding on our transaction pages, meaning your customers have a seamless transition.

How much commission does Sector48 pay?

 

We pay 5% of sale value for sales that are received and completed on outdoor gear sales. On Garden Furniture we pay 7.5%.

Can I just use Sector48 for a small number of products?

 

Yes. We are happy for affiliates to use a small range of our products most relevant to their customers. If you have a sports website focussed on running, you may just want to take a range of our running watches. Obviously the more products you take the more sales you are likely to generate.

How can I keep updated on new products that are available for me to sell?

 

Sector48 issue monthly product updates to advise of products that are no longer available, and new products. However, the time consuming process of price and product spec changes has been automated.

How can we provide a good service if we don't know about the Sector48 products?

 

Sector48 handle all customer service and contact making the affiliate system very easy to adopt. You will be able to publish our email address and phone number so that product queries will come directly to Sector48, allowing your customers to have all their questions answered quickly.

What about a simple banner link?

 

Sector48 don't offer banners. Why? They're not particularly effective. For the 'Advertiser' they deliver low quality, unqualified traffic. For the Affiliate this leads to very low conversion rates and low commission fees. Sector48 offer a deep level of integration in a simple and effective way. To see this in action have a look at the two example sites on our home page. The consumer only moves across to our server when they into the transaction process.

How long does it take to get set up?

 

The process can be very quick. Once you have made contact with us, one of the Sector48 team will contact you in person to go through your plans and ensure you have all the details regarding the operation of the system. After that you will receive the technical details and relevant data feeds and be able to start. At all times through the set up process you are welcome to contact us for advice and help.
